Treatment care

 How successful the treatment is will depend on:

• skin quality
• post-treatment care
• exposure to various external influences.

  None of these factors are under the Artist’s control, thus providing any guarantee for the treatment is not possible.

Before the Treatment always consult with your artist if you:

• have problematic skin
• have serious health issues
• take certain medications
• already have an old PMU on your eyebrows.

Before the treatment, get familiar with the post-treatment care procedure. Avoid ibuprofen, aspirin and alcohol consumption at least 72 hours before treatment.  

Before each treatment, the skin should not be burnt, nor in recovery or regeneration process.
The following treatments are not recommended 30 days before the treatment:

• botox and fillers
• fruit or lactic acids
• laser treatments
• chemical peel
• exposure to strong sunlight.

Stop the use of regenerative creams and/or serums like but not limited to retinol, AHA, BHA, glycolic acid, lactic acid, etc. at least 6 weeks before treatment and avoid in the brow area after treatment to prevent premature fading.

Post-treatment care makes 70% of total treatment success. Conscientiously adhere to the given advice, otherwise, you can lose up to 80% of drawn strokes!

• 30 minutes after procedure clean the area with neutral soap such as children's wash or Cetaphil gentle wash and apply Skin Candy (antibiotic) ointment, use sterile dressing if needed. PhiWipes are a excellent alternative for washing and always available at an additional cost. Repeat this process  every 2 hours in the first day. If your appointment is in the late evening and you are unable to wash a minimum of 3 times  apply ointment and PhiPatch before bed. 
• Day 2 and 3 Cleanse the eyebrows morning and evening, reapply ointment in between washes if the eyebrows feel dry. hard or tight.
•  Day 4-7 days maintain facial hygiene and apply Skin Candy after washing your face or showering. Do not soak  your eyebrows, avoid hot and long showers. If brows feel itchy or flaky, which is normal, apply Skin Candy as needed. 

During the first week of healing avoid all creams, makeup and cleansers (except recommended) in brow area. Avoid excessive sweating, facials and any grooming of brow hair like waxing or threading.

In the next 30 days avoid acne treatments, regenerative creams, excessive sun exposure and always use SPF protection after 7 days.

After the treatment the brows will go through several stages of healing, like any superficial wound on the skin. Keep in mind that the final results are seen after a minimum of 28 days.

• 3- 5 days after treatment the brows will appear much darker and slight thicker than the desired results. Skin may feel sore or sesnsitive to touch.
• 6-8 days after the  treatment the brows will look patchy like a light burn or scrape.  Skin may feel tight or dry
•  9-12 days  after the treatment the skin will start to shed or peel much like  a healing sun burn or dandruff. Skin may feel itchy and dry.

The healing process is unique to each individual and you may or may not experience all of these changes. You may also experience them faster or slower depending on your immune system's ability to heal. It is extremely important to let the skin shed naturally and avoid picking, pulling, scrubbing, scratching or exfoliating. Applying a very small amount of Skin Candy will help soothe the skin.
